My Breakout into the "Experimental"

After watching a couple Stan Brakhage films and my rising interest in interesting composition for shots I decided to make a little experimental diddy. It was shot with a dinky camera the canon A650 IS which Looks pretty good at this size and does really interesting things with color temperature.

I walked around The Fan in Richmond for about 3 hours and stopped when I saw something interesting and while I was photographing something, another area would peak my interest off in the distance. There was hardly time between my discoverings of interesting objects and building. The walk around The Fan was guided by each new discovery, hardly ever having to aimless walk around because I was always walking towards and object or building that peaked my interest.

any way...I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Here you go.

Passion Pit

The concert that I most recently went to was passion pit. Unfortunately the show was not all that great. The Lead singer faced into the wings so we saw his backside the entire show. The energy in his performance did not match up to the energy of the music. But the Video is pretty sweet! And also recreates the aloofness of the lead singer.

Back from the dead

My computer is finally fixed! It took them long enough. Now I'm starting to work on posting what-not and stuff.

Whelp,
Got up at 5:45 and went to they gymnasium. And I just ran, like you told me too. Then I did some other exercises. I feel much more ready for the day. I'm doing work for Focused Inquiry which is one of the most pointless classes taught to date. I'm spending an hour or so doing work that after it is turned in does not matter anymore and in no way benefited me. Oh well, after this assignment I can focus on filming, which starts this weekend.

Start of Online Publicizing

Online. I guess I'll start this. Keeping an blog. Probably just to help me remember stuff, but we'll see. It's like a manly-geeky journal. Zaynah would call me lame, but pshh! That's all I have to say right now. I'm trying to get back on my feet academically and physically so I'll probably talk about that and how life in filmmaking is going (which is going well.) I have lots of homework to catch up on, so this might be infrequent, but we'll see.
